Yaima, produced and bottled by Vina Tinajas, is born in the Maule Valley located 160 miles south of Santiago, the capital of Chile.
The Carmenere grapes grown to create Yaima are grown on the estate vineyard, Fundo Lagares del Maule, located at the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Here the significant temperature differential between day and night produces grapes that create wines that are deep in color with intense aromas.

Viticulture and Vinification: The estate vineyard, Fundo Lagares del Maule produces grapes of outstanding quality. The grapes are harvested at the optimum peak of perfection, vinified and bottled.
Tasting Notes: Yaima Carmenere is a medium bodied, vibrant fruity expression of Carmenere. Succulent fresh fruit forward flavors of wild berries, ripe red fruit blended together with lots of pepper. Juicy fruit driven on the palate with nice acidity.
Serving Suggestion: Yaima Carmenere is the perfect accompaniment to lightly seasoned pasta dishes, grilled vegetables and lightly seasoned veal or chicken.
