Laurel Lake Vineyards is nestled in the heart of the Long Island wine country in Laurel, on the North Fork of Long Island, NY. It is a world apart: quiet, agricultural, with abundant natural beauty.
Laurel Lake Winery is housed within the elegant, colonial-style building with a tasting room highlighted by an antique, landmark bar, stained windows, and a gift shop with varied and unique items. The expansive two story deck overlooking the vineyard provides an opportunity for guest to enjoy a glass of wine or a picnic. Laurel Lake regularly schedules live music, tours and specials events for the whole family. It is such a wonderful place, that every year many couples choose to celebrate their wedding with us.
Laurel Lake Vineyards was acquired by a group of Chilean and American vintner friends, with the passion for wine. They came here looking for beauty and for the unique wines that this geography provides. They found in Laurel Lake Vineyards the “Jewel of Long Island”, where their dreams came true.

Laurel Lakes Vineyards Riesling
Laurel Lake Vineyards are nestled in the heart of the Long Island wine country in Laurel, on the North Fork of Long Island, NY that is quiet and agricultural, with abundant natural beauty. The wines created there reflect a sense of origin and are fresh, crisp and exhibit an elegant bouquet. Laurel Lake Vineyards the “Jewel of Long Island”.
Origin: Laurel, North Fork, Long Island
Varietal: Riesling
Vinification: The wine-making technique emphasizes a respect for tradition and for hand-crafted techniques, including the use of indigenous yeast and bacteria, minimal intervention and no filtration of the wines. Our labor-intensive, artisanal approach to wine-making produces wines which are true to their varietal character and evoke an honest sense of place. The grapes are harvested and pressed. Indigenous yeast fermentation and extended aging on the lees in both neutral oak barrels and stainless steel follow which allows the grapes to express their minerality and nuance to deliver a complexity of depth and mouth-feel.
Tasting Notes: This flowery, aromatic wine blends soft acidity with sweetness.

Varietal: Cabernet Franc
Vinification: The wine-making technique emphasizes a respect for tradition and for hand-crafted techniques, including the use of indigenous yeast and bacteria, minimal intervention and no filtration of the wines. Our labor-intensive, artisanal approach to wine-making produces wines which are true to their varietal character and evoke an honest sense of place. The grapes are cool soaked pre-fermentation followed by an indigenous yeast fermentation with aerative pump overs and finish with an extended maceration with heat. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, one third of which are new.
Tasting Notes: This opaque ruby red wine bursts on the palate with peppery spicy flavors and hints of toasty cedar. Well-balanced with an intense aroma, smooth rich tannins and powerful velvet finish.

Laurel Lake Vineyards are nestled in the heart of the Long Island wine country in Laurel, on the North Fork of Long Island, NY that is quiet and agricultural, with abundant natural beauty. Origin: Laurel, North Fork, Long Island
Varietals: A propriety blend of grapes grown exclusively in the Laurel Lake Vineyards.
Vinification: A moderately cool soak pre-fermentation, followed by an indigenous yeast fermentation with aerative pump overs, and finish with an extended maceration with heat. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, one third of which are new. The blends are assembled in the summer after the prior year’s harvest and bottled the following winter without filtration. These techniques help to produce stylistically unique wines with lush fruit and silky soft tannins.
Tasting Notes: Rich juicy aromas of strawberry, watermelon and cherry come together seamlessly in this semi-sweet red wine with a clean, lively finish and refreshing finish.

Varietal: Pinot Noir
Vinification: The wine-making technique emphasizes a respect for tradition and for hand-crafted techniques, including the use of indigenous yeast and bacteria, minimal intervention and no filtration of the wines. The primary fermentation of the 2012 Pinot Noir was made in an open tank pushing down the grapes three times per day to extract more flavors from the skin, and then aged for 18 months in 100% French oak barrels. This Pinot Noir is smooth, rich and fleshy with a complex array of cherry, plum and blackberry.
