The money raised from the event helped finance two scholarships which are awarded to families who are members of the NJLBA. A fun event for a great cause!

Building a broader platform for diversity in the culinary and hospitality industries is the spirit behind BCA Global’s 11th Annual Global Food & Wine Event. Each year The Vision in Wine Award recognizes wine and spirits professionals who have demonstrated a dedication to building awareness and appreciation among people of color for the culture of wine through exposure and education.
This year, the BCA Global Vision in Wine Award was presented to Reginald Idlett, a 30 year wine and spirits professional. “The culinary and food service industry is the most important industry on the planet. I am proud to be connected to it through the hospitality component as a purveyor of fine wines and spirits,” said Reginald of Black Hawk Imports

Culinary Delights, April 13, 2015
Hosted by the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce, Black Hawk Imports was proud to participate in this annual prestigious event at the Glen Cove Mansion. With over 50 restauranteurs, wine shops, importers and members of the Chamber of Commerce in attendance, the walk around tasting was attended by approximately 300 consumers whose entrance fee is used to fund a scholarship for a local student. Savory delights included a delicious Chicken Francis from Antonette’s and a sumptuous selection of Peruvian indulgences from Restaurant T which paired beautifully with the Black Hawk Imports wine and spirits selections.

Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA), April 12-15, 2015
WSWA is the largest meeting of wine and spirits wholesalers in America. Held annually, this year the meeting was held in Orlando, Florida. Black Hawk Imports, a Silver Associate Member of WSWA, was privileged to participate in this esteemed event. Showcased wines and spirits from the Black Hawk Imports unique portfolio included Canei which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year in the US market and Gorgeous Vodka, 100% Gluten Free potato Vodka from Montana.
